Learn how to handle a chainsaw with expert instruction from Northeast Woodland Training forestry pros. Detailed descriptions of the curriculum & course requirements are at www.woodlandtraining.com. The classes will be held at Merck Forest & Farmland Center.

Classes start promptly at 8am and end at 4pm. Bring a sound hard-hat, lunch & water, long pants, gloves, sturdy work/hiking boots and weather/work-appropriate outerwear. Classes are rarely cancelled due to weather; they will be held light rain or snow, hot or cold temperatures, and only high winds, lightning or heavy rains will cause the classes to be re-scheduled. Tuition is $180 per person, per level. Class size is limited and pre-registration (call 802-394-7836) is required.
