Best Maintenance Practices for Urban Trees
** no experience needed **

WHEN: WEDNESDAY 05/02 - 10am to 3pm

WHERE: TREEage Community Nursery at Wheeler Nature Park; 1100 Dorset Street, South Burlington, VT 05403
Park in lot at the Homestead Farmhouse (brick building); walk to nursery along bike path or by path through the field toward south west corner of the park.

EVENT: Celebrate Arbor Day at South Burlington .. Join us at the nursery to plant 40 trees, a generous gift from the South Burlington Rotary Club! Enjoy a tour of the nursery and learn about how to care for and grow young trees. Let's talk trees!

BRING:Shovel, gloves, kneeling pad, snack, sunscreen and a smile!

With guidance of Craig Lambert, SB's City Arborist, TREEage Volunteers manage the nursery and help to maintain young city trees. When ready, our VT trees will grow along city streets, parks or other city owned property. They offer many financial, environmental and aesthetic benefits to the residents of South Burlington.
