On June 1, Charlotte Senior Center is sponsoring a FULL-DAY TRIP by Premier Coach to HILDENE, the estate of Abraham Lincoln's son, Todd, in Manchester. With some luck, the peonies will be in bloom in the spectacular setting.

A visit to the restored Pullman car on the grounds, and a self-guided tour of the home are followed by a private look at the archives collection. The pre-ordered, buffet lunch in the mansion features a horticultural presentation. If time and energy permit, there will be a short stop at the Northshire Bookstore. Start time is 8 a.m., return arrival time is approx. 5 p.m.
