Keep the Park Green has booked the Main Street Landing for Saturday, May 19th, to show the film Taking Root about the life of Wangari Mathaai and the green belt movement in Kenya. It is such a powerful film about reforestation, protecting trees, and resisting efforts to destroy Parks! She was an amazing woman, won the Nobel Peace Prize, and the filmmaker is going to introduce the film for us! The showtimes will be 4 and 7:30
