Join students and educators from Harwood High, Peoples Academy, and Stowe High for an afternoon of films/stories/music & art from Africa. All of the media was created in collaboration with community partners in Rwanda. It was 24 years ago this month when the small country of Rwanda succumbed to genocide. You'll hear stories from young Rwandans about their passions and their hopes for the future. There will be a silent auction and suggested donations at the door to help support the Nyundo Art School, a community partner, that was recently flooded. All funds will go directly to the school for purchasing mattresses, uniforms and art supplies.
