Introduction to Spinning Yarn

In this beginner-level spinning workshop students will learn how to spin on drop spindles creating one- and two-ply yarns, and learning to draft, ply, and block. We will discuss other types of spinning, and the skills learned in this class will be helpful for those who are learning to spin on a wheel. Students who own wheels are encouraged to bring them and will get support with how to use them.
