Vermont Choral Union Spring Concert

Past event
Apr 29, 2018, 3 to 4:30 PM

One of Vermont's longest-running a cappella classical choirs (more than 50 consecutive years!), The Vermont Choral Union presents its Spring Concert, "Tapestry," under the musical direction of Middlebury's Jeff Rehbach at Saint Michael's College this Sunday, April 29, 3:00pm. The concert's theme captures the idea of weaving together music old and new, sacred and secular, slow and beautiful, energetic and surprising. The Choral Union's 36 singers -- including members from Bristol, Starksboro, Ferrisburgh and across the Champlain Valley and central and northwest regions of Vermont -- perform a mosaic of inspirational works spanning the centuries. This concert marks the conclusion of Jeff Rehbach's tenure as Music Director of the Choral Union, who retires after this concert, having served as VCU's music director for the past seven years. We hope to see friends and music aficionados from Addison County in the audience at Saint Michael's College for this performance!
