Nature Summer Camps and Mother's Day

Past event
May 13, 2018, 10 to 11:30 AM

The Middlebury Area Land Trust is looking forward to spring and summer. Here's two great ways for families to get outside with MALT!

1) Mother's Day Wildflower Walk
Sunday, May 13 from 10:00 - 11:30
Wright Park, Middlebury
MALT Members - FREE; Non-members - $3/person; Under 2 - Free
RSVP info@maltvt.org

Bring the whole family and join MALT for a Mother's Day wildflower walk. Our co-leaders will engage families in exploring spring wildflowers by using all our senses. We'll hit the trail together and include time for Mothers (and all adults!) to spend time learning from botanist Julie Mitchell while kids get to play games and explore wildflowers up close with MALT's Director and Educator, Jamie Montague.

2) MALT Nature Summer Camps
***Preschool Nature Camps and All-Girls Camps have a few spots left***

**Scholarships available**

Do you remember how it felt to play outside as a kid? Wandering, exploring, mud fights, fort making and make-believe until your parents called you home for dinner? At our camps, we encourage and create this feeling of timeless play with games like capture the flag, treasure maps and scavenger hunts, storytelling, animal tracking, sneaking and camouflage, and catching little critters. Come get dirty in the woods while discovering the mysteries of nature, getting comfortable in the outdoors, and most of all, having FUN!
