Screening - Suicide: the Ripple Effect

Past event
Jul 24, 2018, 7 to 8:30 PM

I am working with a non-profit mental health movement (Gift of Voice: http://giftofvoice.com/) to hopefully host a screening of Suicide: The Ripple Effect at the Roxy Theater in late July. This documentary follows Kevin Hines, who at age 19, attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. The film highlights who is impacted by suicide and other families who have had similar experiences.

So why am I reaching out now at the end of April?

I need the grassroots movement Vermont is known for to get butts in the seats. This screening can only happen if I am able to fill 60 seats with pre-ordered tickets. In addition to the film there will also be the chance of having a panel of mental health professionals who live in Vermont to discuss mental health in VT which affects 1 in 4 individuals directly and many more indirectly.

Please consider pre-ordering a ticket or reaching out to me if you work in a workplace that is willing on advertising this event. Every ticket counts and no offer of help is too small.
