Common Roots First Annual Fairy Festival will be held on Saturday May at 12th (rain date May 19th). From 9-12 at the top of the hour come hear a story in the Children's Garden, select a basket of nature treasure and then build a fairy or gnome house along the forest and meadow trails. Skinny Pancake will be selling healthy lunch, the Fairy Market will be open for treasure shopping, and our organic plants will be for sale.
Join us and the week folk, dress up if you wish, and wear rain boots for walking the muddy spring puddles and paths where the fairy folk live. Come gather at 1100 Dorset Street community garden and park. Adults and children under 2 years are free. A $10 entrance fee for all others will sponsor scholarships for our family nature-based birthday gatherings at the Wheeler House nature park. Contact JoAnne Dennee for more info at joannedennee@gmail.com. Ticket purchases can be made at www.sburl.com Recreation and Parks Dept.
