Art Reception & Silent Auction
Sunday April 29th, 4pm, ONE Arts Center
Join ONE Arts Center and partners CVOEO and BCA, to celebrate April's Fair Housing Month, "Heart & Home" Art Opening. The show features local professional artists work, collages from local New American teenagers, paintings from elementary age youth and several collaborative community pieces as well as a small silent auction.
Featured artists include Iraqi-American painter Sabah Abbas and Haitian-American artist, Pievy Polyte. Proceeds from the auction will go towards providing a studio space for Sabah Abbas.
Guests are encouraged to create art pieces inspired by the theme of "Heart & Home" while at the opening! All supplies provided.
Meet Emily Anderson and her fledging company, Bluebird Fairies. She creates light-hearted characters to inspire positivity and celebrating life fully.
This is a kid friendly event and will feature a special children's art table.
Catered with Iraqi and other foods!
ONE Arts Center is proud to co-host April's Fair Housing Month, "Heart & Home," in collaboration with CVOEO and Burlington City Arts. This project is supported in part by the BCA Community Fund and U.S. Department of HUD grant for the Fair Housing Project for fair housing and outreach.
