Did you ever wonder where to begin when drawing a tree, flower or other natural object or scene from nature? Well then this class is for you! Start by working on simple sketches and progress to more elaborate drawings while learning how to selectively interpret and draw what you see. Bill Tulp is a naturalist as well as an artist and has for many decades kept nature journals. He will share ideas on logging your personal nature journals in creative and informational ways while working directly from nature during the class: either outside (weather permitting) or inside with a collection of natural materials. All drawing materials are included! Open to participants ages 16 and older.
