Ally Parker, MA, a Bereavement Care Coordinator with the VNA will be at the Champlain Senior Center on Monday, February 3 at 11 AM to talk with us about grief and loss. The discussion will include looking at how grief and loss “shows up” in our lives, different types of loss and how that affects our grieving process, what it means to “regrieve” something or someone, anticipatory loss– how are we affected when we know we are about to lose something or someone, the importance of self-care and suggestions for coping with loss. All adults are welcomed to attend free of charge.
