The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) presents Karibu (Welcome in Swahili) a fashion show featuring New American models, African drumming and dance on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Main Street Landing in Burlington. Models from countries across the world will be wearing traditional dress and "takes" on tradition designed and sewn by artisans from their own community. Tickets for the show will be $20. Special limited Red Carpet tickets will be $50 and will give you access to a red carpet pre-show complete with a rich selection of traditional foods from New American community members, a sneak peek, cash bar, music and more.
