American Values Reading and Discussion Series, Part 3: The Four Freedoms
Founding documents and landmark speeches help us understand the core values at the heart of our national experiment – what they meant then and now, and how well we practice what we preach. In session, we'll be discussing Roosevelt's Four Freedoms speech. Texts for each session are available at the library ahead oftime. Discussion led by Nat Frothingham; sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Vermont Humanities Council. There will be one last session on 5/9. You need not have attended the previous sessions to attend this one - just come ready to think about and discuss big ideas in a respectful manner!
