PC Working Meeting on Energy Section of Town Plan

Past event
Apr 25, 2018, 7 to 9 PM

Have you ever wondered what you can do about climate change? The Paris Accords seem so distant and even Washington seems like a foreign country these days.I believe there is wisdom in the axiom of thinking globally and acting locally.

Tomorrow night, Wednesday April 25 from 7:00 - 9:00, the Richmond Planning Commission will be discussing the Energy Section of the current draft of the Town Plan. If ever there was a time when you wanted to be involved locally to help shape what we can do as a town to address climate change, tomorrow night is a good place to start. You can find the current draft here: http://www.richmondvt.gov/documents/2018-town-plan-draft-information/

The Planning Commission's plan is to finalize this section Wednesday night so they can move on to other sections and get a final, final version of the complete plan ready for a public hearing in mid-May.

Feel free to call or write me if you would like more information on the work that has been done to date or to discuss new ideas.
