Hello Neighbors,

I invite you to come hear an excellent large chorus singing works from Latvian classical and folk traditions.

The Burlington Choral Society will present "A Baltic Heartbeat - Music of Latvia," including the cantata "God, They Earth is Aflame!" which premiered in 1943 with the sound of bombs in the distance.

Richard Riley, artistic director, will lead the 65-voice chorus, soloists and orchestra on Saturday, Apr. 28, 7:30 p.m. at the College Street Congregational Church in Burlington, VT.

Soloists will be Joshua Collier, tenor; Erik Kroncke, bass, with Lynnette Combs, Organ and Claire Black, piano.
