How to Create Change Free training with Lets Grow Kids and Craftsbury Saplings

You can change the world with your story! Join us for a FREE How to Create Change Training if you're interested in sharing your story about the importance of early childhood with legislators and community members. Craftsbury Saplings has partnered with Let's Grow Kids to offer this training to all those in the community interested in becoming changemakers in early childhood.

What: An overview of policy advocacy, the power of our collective action and how you can make a difference using your personal story. Participants will join a statewide network of highly skilled, confident and motivated advocates who will mobilize together to make policy change to ensure that every Vermont child has access to high-quality, affordable child care. Participants will also learn the basic structure of a persuasive public narrative that links their personal stories to campaign messaging in order to create positive change for Vermont's children. Craftsbury Saplings will be generously providing dinner, so it is very important to register if you plan on attending!

When: Monday, May 14th, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Where: Craftsbury Saplings @ East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church, 1097 Ketchum Hill Rd, Craftsbury

Why: Because the research is clear that children who have high-quality early learning and development opportunities experience greater success in school, relationships and life—and ALL Vermont children deserve a strong start!

* Child care will be available. Northern Lights accredited.
