Please join us May 5 for Green Up day in Milton. By spending a few hours cleaning the roadsides, you can have a positive impact on your neighborhood or your favorite street/road. It's easy to participate:
Prior to May 5, official Green Up trash bags are available at the Milton Municipal Building. When you pick up your bags, you will see a road map of the town in the lobby. Just highlight the area where you plan to work. Or, on May 5, you may also visit the Recreation pavilion (off Middle Rd.) to pick up bags.
At noon on May 5, lunch will be provided to participants at the Recreation Pavilion. Prizes will be awarded for the most unusual items scoured from the roadside. Natural resource information will also be available on a variety of topics. After your work is done, you will feel good about improving your town.
