Xander Naylor—Xander Naylor Sound Machine
Xander Naylor is a cultural explorer of the guitar. Having spun through a diverse set of scenes, he has found homes in free improv, indie rock, experimental jazz, and North Indian classical music, and continues to draw elements from noise, rock, eastern rhythms, and sound collage. His latest solo album, Arc, creates a stimulating mash-up that is both startling and comforting in today's tumultuous world. Xander Naylor Sound Machine expands on these concepts and realizes them in a full-band experience.

"Some of the most refreshingly unhinged guitar recorded in this century." - New York Music Daily

"[Naylor] creates a language all his own...[and] comes across as a mix between a guitar-slinging Colin Stetson and a guitar-slinging Fred Frith, with the result (and main takeaway) being that he's a pretty competent guitar slinger, no matter what style he's tackling." - The Critical Masses
