Jason Anderson "Underground-Folk" Concert at South Newfane Schoolhouse
Saturday, April 28th, 2018.
The first of the 2018 Schoolhouse Rocks concert series kicks off with Jason Anderson on Saturday, April 28th at 7:00 pm at the South Newfane Schoolhouse.
From the snowbound wilds of central New Hampshire, Jason Anderson has spent the last 15 years as an indefatigable underground-folk stalwart, quietly putting on the best shows you've probably never seen. An endearing songwriter and transcendent live performer, Anderson's work is as anthemic as it is affecting.
Strand of Oakes collaborator Anderson's raw, soulful, literate anthems would sit well on a playlist with Conor Oberst or Glen Hansard. What sets him apart, however, is his joyous energy in concert. With the singular ability to make a basement feel like a stadium and a bar feel like church, Jason's irrepressible charisma and participatory concerts have made him a sensation wherever he goes, earning friends and fans one euphoric gig at a time. Concert is FREE and family friendly with donations encouraged for the artist. BYOB and a snack to share if you wish. The South Newfane Schoolhouse is located on Dover Road at Auger Hole Road in the heart of South Newfane Village. More info here: fb.me/SouthNewfaneSchoolhouse
