NEK folks - The Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District is hosting a Green Up Day Raffle to give one lucky Green Up Day participant a Soil Saver backyard composter (valued at $100)! To enter the raffle, simple snap a picture of yourself, friends, or family participating in Green Up Day, upload it to facebook and tag Northeast Kingdom Waste (be sure to be friends with us first!). Uploading and tagging us in a photo will enter you into the raffle! The winner will be contacted over facebook, any resident of an NEKWMD town can enter!

Info for Lyndon Residents - Pick up Green Up Day bags and sign up for routes at the Municipal Offices.

The big change this year is that the drop off site will be the Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District (NEKWMD) at 224 Church Street, not the Municipal Offices. Drop off hours will be Saturday, May 5th from 9-2 p.m. and AmeriGas will be serving free coffee, hot dogs, chips, and sodas for all participants! Please do not leave bags on roadsides as there is no roadside pickup in Lyndon.

If you plan to green up early you can drop off green up bags during normal hours of operation at NEKWMD the Thursday and Friday before Green Up Day (May 3rd and 4th).
