"What's Buried in Your Yard" The Tinmouth Historical and Genealogical Society will host a medal detector show and tell at the Old Firehouse in Tinmouth Center from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

Do you own a metal detector and would like some pointers or would like to learn about detectors and how to use them, John LaFountain, will be bringing his knowledge and experience in locating old coins and other objects from around the world to Tinmouth. Have you found something old or interesting when you were planting your garden or digging for a foundation or just discovered a odd "treasure" buried in your yard? If so this program is for you. You are invited to bring your detector and item (s) and tell the story of where and how it was found and any other information about it that you know, even speculation.

The program is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
