Simple, Sustainable Living in Harmony with the Earth

Past event
May 3, 2018, 6:30 to 8:30 PM

What does a good life truly require? How can we live in harmony with the earth, enriched by the choice for voluntary simplicity? What spiritual or ethical foundations might support such a life?

Members of Buddhist Peace Action Vermont will offer a Spring Forum at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. (130 Main St.) We'll address the questions above and more, with the help of three wonderful presenters:

Ben Hewitt farms and homesteads with his family in northern Vermont. He is the author of five books, including the "Nourishing Homestead."

Beth Perera is a certified Food For Life instructor for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, teaching the power of plant-based nutrition.

Simon Dennis is co-founder of Transition Town White River Junction, where he directs a residential center based on sustainable living.
