Vermont Vaudeville's Spring Show

Past event
May 10, 7:30 PM to May 12, 2018

This Mother's Day weekend, May 10, 11 & 12, Vermont Vaudeville returns to the Hardwick Town House with a brand new production, "Mum's The Word". Shows will begin at 7:30 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon. The show will feature nationally touring dog act, "Mutts Gone Nuts", award-winning comic juggler, Sam Malcolm, and brand new comedy and music from the core Vermont Vaudeville cast, which will include Hardwick native Andy Gagnon on drums.

In what has been described as "the mother of all vaudeville shows", "Mum's the Word" promises to deliver. It was conceived nearly 9 months ago, and early check-ups have revealed a sensational line-up.

Mutts gone Nuts, who Vermonters may recognize from their appearances at the Champlain Valley Fair, will be traveling all the way from Maryland, and are doggone incredible. Canines and comedy collide as these astounding animals unleash havoc and hilarity in a breathtaking, action-packed, comedy dog spectacular. Deemed "A Must See" by The Washington Post, the dogs are sure to steal your heart, and then your socks.

Sam Malcolm grew up on the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone reservation, and fell in love with performing after seeing the circus as a kid. He has become one of the top jugglers on the planet, winning awards for his skills from the International Jugglers' Association, and touring across the country in circuses and cabarets. He has been featured on CNN and recently was voted People's Choice at the San Diego Buskers festival.

While the show fills your heart with laughter, Backroad BBQ will fill your belly. They'll be serving up locally sourced comfort cuisine on the Town House lawn two hours prior to each show. Inside, you will find hot popcorn and sweets from Red Sky Trading. It is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance. They are available at www.VermontVaudeville.com, and at the Galaxy Bookshop on Main Street in Hardwick. Your mom gave you life, the least you can do is give her a laugh. Buy her a ticket to the show-- before your brother does!
