In the final concert of the season, the walkOver Cabin Fever Series presents Natalie Haas, and Yann Falquet, on Saturday April 28th 8pm., - performing a rich mix of Quebecois songs and Scandinavian/French Canadian/Scottish/New England tunes with cello, guitar and the occasional accordion!
Vibrant young cellist Natalie Haas is one of the most sought after cellists in Celtic music today. She tours regularly with master Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser, has appeared on over 50 albums, and has also taught at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. A graduate of the Juilliard School, Natalie is currently based in Montreal.
Yann Falquet is a truly active and creative acoustic guitar player on the Québécois music scene. He has explored many styles of music and completed a Bachelors degree in Jazz. Since then, he has developed a personal guitar style for Québec folk music, inspired by the playing of the accompanists of different cultures.
