The Capital Orchestra presents a Spring Concert for all ages. We reallydo believe that Spring is coming! Come hear your friends and neighbors make beautiful music together.
Leah Gagnon conducts the Montpelier-based community orchestra in this one-hour concert.
You'll hear lively classics by Brahms and Bizet, a picturesque Venetian Carnival Overture from the 1920's, the dramatic "Berceuse" and "Finale" from Stravinsky's Firebird Suite, the moving melody "Memory" from the musical "Cats", a rollicking Irish Suite and Jay Unger's haunting Ashokan Farewell.
FREE, but donations appreciated.
