Earth Day

Past event
Apr 22, 2018, 6 to 8 PM

We've only got this one Earth, and it's slowly becoming uninhabitable for our species (not to mention all the other species that have become extinct or are heading in that direction). The canary in the coal mine is long since dead. Some of us would like to pretend that the canary is still singing. Others are saying that it's just one bird, so what's the big deal? Still others think that we need to bring another canary down into the mine to see if the second one dies also---we can delay until we get more information.

Earth Day will be celebrated in Bennington on Sunday, April 22, We will start with a potluck supper at 6:00 at the UU Meeting House, 105 School Street. This will be followed by a movie "HAPPENING-- A Clean Energy Revolution" starting at 7:00.

Come join us and help to save the planet.
