Woodlands for Wildlife Presentation and Walk

Hello Friends and Neighbors!

This 2 hour educational opportunity is being offered for anyone passionate about learning more about wildlife, and what we can do to support their habitat. Come listen to a lively and humorous discussion led by Lisa Sausville; executive director of Vermont Coverts: Woodlands for Wildlife Inc.

A one-hour slideshow and discussion will be followed by a visit to a site that became an accidental healthy ecosystem. This site, once dominantly filled with white pine now harbors a plethora of new growth forest, wildlife, plants, and birds; all taking place on less than 1 acre. We encourage you to join us in this terrific educational opportunity.

When and where: 6-7PM Huntington Library followed by a site visit on East Street from 7-8PM. Snacks and beverages provided!
