While herbaceous plants wait beneath the snow, winter is an excellent time to get to know our evergreen species and explore their medicinal uses. This class will include a walk outside at VCIH to meet a few evergreens (bring warm clothes!) followed by time in the classroom sampling various evergreen preparations, learning about their medicinal use, and reviewing identification.
