Title I Annual Family Meeting

Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA) provides federal financial assistance to our school as a result of our high percentage of children from low-income families. We use the funding to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards. This annual meeting is a required part of receiving that funding. We will talk about how our school spends our Title I funding and why we allocate it the way we do. We will talk about how families can increase their involvement in school. And, we will review and revise our Home-School Compact, which talks about the roles and responsibilities of the school, families and students, in providing a high-quality education.
