Mary Sturtevant told us about and showed us wonderful pictures of the first half of her pilgrimage on the El Camino de Santiago last fall and she returns this Thursday to take us on the second half of the journey. This route of approximately 480 miles that traverses the northern part of Spain begins at St. John Pied de Port in France or Rancesvalles on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees Mountains and ends at the Cathedral of Santiago. A scallop shell is the symbol one follows along the trail. Mary has done many long distance hikes and can answer your questions. Come hear Mary on 4/19/18 at 1:30 in Catamount Arts on Eastern Ave, St. J. A single lecture is $6 and all are welcome.
