Dummerston Cares will be having a public discussion on Aging Well on Sunday, April 22, 2-4 pm, at the Dummerston Center church. Starting the discussion will be John Wilcox, Tom Zopf and Mary Lou Schmidt. They will each share what aging well means for them, how they're aging in their own lives, and specific keys to aging that work well for them.
General discussion on keys to aging well will follow their remarks. Some of the keys are recognizing the benefits and rewards of growing old, connecting with others and the natural world, doing for others in the sharing of one's wisdom and gifts, and facing illness and chronic health conditions in positive ways. There are many more. Light refreshments will follow the discussion.
All ages are welcome for a sharing of thoughts, experience and learning from one another. For more information contact Bill at 802-258-0431 or elysian2@svcable.net.
