The Mad Robin Callers Collective invites you to come to our practice contra dance party at 6:30pm on Wednesday, August 14th,. We'll be at 21 Decatur Street. Bring your dance shoes, come dance to live music, and enjoy some snacks.

Practice parties are a place for our callers to work on teaching techniques, grapple with challenging dances, test-drive new dance compositions, and generally play! For dancers, it's a chance to dance for FREE mid-week. Better yet, it's a way to participate in the process of nurturing the contra dance tradition. Offer your perspective and feedback to callers, and help us to sustain this centuries-old tradition we all love so much.

Dancing starts at 6:30, and we'll run to 8:30pm. Musicians interested in playing contra dance music are welcome to join in.
