The Essex Selectboard will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. on April 16 at the Town Offices, 81 Main St., Essex Junction. The meeting agenda includes the following items:

-Public to be heard.
-Renewals of three first-class liquor licenses.
-Interviews of Paula DeMichele and Hilary Jones for an opening on the Conservation and Trails Committee.
-Discussion regarding facilitation plan for a proposed Firearms Ordinance.
-Discussion about the Visiting Nurse Association about the organization and annual human service funding grants.
-Consideration of a proposal for a net metering project from Green Lantern Solar, which could allow the Town to purchase electricity at a lower rate.
-The SB will consider adopting the 2018 Local Emergency Operations Plan.
-The SB will consider adopting the Rules and Regulations for Orderly Conduct of Business.
-The SB will consider a Kids to Parks Day proclamation, which encourages children to explore their local parks. If approved, Kids to Parks Day will be held on May 19.
-The SB will consider approving minutes from March 24 & April 2.
-Consent agenda.
