A gentle reminder to sign up for the April 27th Reading Blood Donation Opportunity. Each unit of blood can save up to 3 lives!

The following afternoon appointments are available ( a total of 18 vacant slots to give whole blood and 2 vacant slots to donate double red cells). Please feel invited to go to www.redcrossblood.org today!

noon - 2 for whole blood, 12:15, 12:30, 12:45, 1:15, 1:45, 2:00 - 1 for whole blood and 1 for double reds, 2:15, 2:30, 3:00PM - 2 for whole blood and 1 for double red, 3:15, 3:45, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45 and 5:00.

Double Red counts as two units and there are height and weight requirements (for men, donors must weight at least 130 lbs. and be at least 5'1"; women must weigh at least 150 lbs. and be at least 5'5" tall) The Fire Dept.'s Auxiliary will provide nutritious food and gifts will be given to every donor.
