On Friday, April 13th at 7 PM, St. John's in the Mountains Episcopal Church will be hosting a performance by the Chamber Singers from the Johnson campus of the newly organized Northern Vermont University. The Chamber Singers have been established as the auditioned touring ensemble of the college. The Chamber Singers are led by Bethany L. Plissey. The 17 members represent a wide variety of majors within and outside of the Performing Arts Department. Past tours have taken the Chamber Singers to Boston, Montreal, Providence, and Newport, as well as New York City. The repertoire of the Chamber Singers includes art music from the 15th century to contemporary compositions and folk music of diverse cultures, but with a primary focus on the works of Scandinavian and Baltic composers. Along with members of the larger Chorale group, the Chamber Singers have presented tours through Spain, Germany and Austria and this July will tour to Finland, Estonia and Latvia.

A Free Will Donation will be welcomed – we suggest $10.00 per person. All proceeds go to the church's Lamoille Community Children's Fund, which aids children in need. Refreshments will be served.
