Middlebury Song Fest brings together singers from around the north eastern United States to not only sing and explore the classical song repertoire, but to engage deeply with audiences and inspire creativity, reflection, participation and joy!
Our theme this year is Wild and Wonderful... all things natural, seasonal, and romantic.
English and American poets and musicians from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries will be our guides as we play, sing, reflect, relate, and wonder. Concerts vary from exploratory and experimental, to Master Classes and debuts of original music, to traditional art song. Join us as we dive into poetry and music to explore how these art forms support each other to express and reflect on the human experience.
*If you are a developing artist (piano or voice) studying classical music, and you're interested in participating in Saturday afternoon's events, (master class and concert), please contact us at middleburysongfest@gmail.com.
Mark you calendars and hope to see you there!
