This Sunday, April 15, 2 PM at the Pownal Library, Pownal Historical Society presents Re-enactor Phyllis Chapman as 'the unsinkable Molly Brown'. Mrs. JJ Brown is remembered as a feisty westerner who survived the Titanic disaster, but there are many more fascinating details of her remarkable life -- born in poverty, she found incredible riches and invested her time and money in worthy causes including juvenile delinquency programs and women's suffrage. These experiences proved significant during the sinking of the Titanic. Join us for a most interesting and informative program on this the 106th anniversary to the day of the sinking of the Titanic. All welcome!
