Their forthcoming album on Smithsonian Folkways Recordings, The Invisible Comes to Us http://www.annaandelizabeth.com, is a spellbinding reconfiguration of ancient folk ballads that sees the duo's immersion in American traditional music move to a place of boundless experimentation. NPR's All Songs Considered said of the duo: "Anna & Elizabeth are excavating folk music's many mysteries."
