The public is invited to a free concert of organ and trumpet music at the Middlebury Congregational Church at 2:00 pm next Sunday, April 15. The performers will be Vermont AGO Artist of the Year Jenny Bower, and trumpeter Jim Duncan. Ms. Bower is a graduate of Oberlin College, with a dual major in Keyboard Performance and Geology. She currently serves as the Organist of the Vergennes Congregational Church.
Featured in this concert is the church's William A. Johnson pipe organ, first installed in 1862 and considerably enlarged in later years.
