The Pownal Recreation Task Force is sponsoring a wildflower walk at the South Stream Wildlife Management Area on May 5 at 9 a.m. In case of bad weather, the rain date is May 7 at 6 p.m.

Led by Ruth Botzow and Joni Charbonneau, this hike promises to be both informative and fun. But, only 6 places are available. So, please email me, raymond_rodrigues@msn.com, as soon as possible if you'd like to join this leisurely walk.

This is the first in a series of hikes being planned for 2018.
