"BACKCOUNTRY RESCUE in VERMONT" at Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum's Thirsty Thursday speaker series April 12th. Panelists Neil Van Dyke, Search and Rescue Coordinator for the state, Joel Blumenthal from Killington Search and Rescue, Peg Doheny, Director of Jay Peak Ski Patrol, and Doug Veliko, Head of Stowe Mountain Rescue will talk about backcountry safety in winter and how they and their teams work together to help save lives. They will also answer questions from the audience. Doors to the museum open at 6:00 with the discussion beginning at 6:30. $10 entry fee supports the museum.
