Come hear a talk about "Cooperatives: Past, Present, and a Part of a Positive Future" with Annie Gaillard. Monday, April 9, 6:30-7:30, at Sterling College, Simpson Hall, 1958 Room. Annie has been a core staff person at Hardwick's Buffalo Mountain Coop for many years and operates Surfing Veggie farm with her partner Louis Pulver. She is now pursuing a Masters of Management in Cooperatives and Credit Unions through the SOBEY School of Business at St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has been studying cooperatives of all kinds across the US and overseas and will share some of what she has learned, as well as her thoughts on the role of co-ops in a future just and sustainable economy.
