Hello everyone,

I want to let you all know about an upcoming event at Mount Mansfield Union High School. On Tuesday, April 10th there will be a workshop in the MMU Library called "Nonviolent Engagement in Conflict". This workshop explores how addressing conflict nonviolently can be a positive and effective way to grow and change individually, deepen relationships, and support social justice in all aspects of our lives.

This is a free event thanks to a grant from the Ben and Jerry's Foundation. Our family friend Willoughby Carlo is working in collaboration with the Peace and Justice Center and the MMU After Dark program to host this event. This event is free, although to sign up on the MMU After Dark website it will charge $1 which can be reimbursed at the event. This is the final event in an ongoing series on racial justice.
If you would like to come to the upcoming workshop with some background, a great film to watch beforehand is "13th" which can be found on Netflix, although this is not mandatory.
This workshop will be held from 6-8 pm on April 10th in the MMU library. We hope to see you there! If you have any questions feel free to contact Willoughby at willoughby.carlo@cesuvt.org.
