On Monday, April 9th, from 6-7:30pm in the Harwood Library, Debby Haskins, will bring her wealth of substance abuse information to Harwood. Debby Haskins, MS, LADC (Masters of Science-UVM), Licensed Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor. She is a U Matter trainer/consultant for Center for Health and Learning in Suicide Prevention; and teaches Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug courses, Injury, Violence Prevention courses online through Union Institute. Debby has been in the substance abuse field for 30 years, from prevention to treatment. Her passion is working with adolescents and their families in breaking the cycle of addiction, and presenting information in an experiential way.
