Mountain Gardeners invites the public to a free presentation by garden writer Henry Homeyer, whose column appears weekly in the Times Argus and Rutland Herald. He will be presenting a PowerPoint slideshow on Tuesday, April 10, at 1pm at The Big Picture Theater, following a short Mountain Gardeners business meeting.

His topic is "Beyond Perennials: Using woody plants, stone and whimsy to create interesting and beautiful gardens."

Homemyer is the author four gardening books including "The Vermont Gardener's Companion". He is a regular commentator on Vermont Public Radio and a UNH Master Gardener. He lives and gardens in Cornish Flat, NH. He is a lifetime organic gardener.

There is no charge for this presentation and refreshments will be served.
