On Friday, January 31, at 6 PM, Shelburne Vineyard will hold an exclusive Cellar Tasting event featuring tank and barrel tastings of our soon to be bottled 2013 vintage along with a special and rare sampling of our 2012 Marquette Reserve. (Marquette has received unprecedented “Best Red in Show” designation for the past three consecutive years at the International Cold Climate Wine Competition.) Tastings will be conducted by winemakers, Ethan, Ken and Scott, in the barrel room. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss with them the highlights of the 2013 growing season and harvest and the winemaking techniques that made this season unique as well as to offer feedback on the wines. The evening will include light appetizers by Shelburne’s Rustic Roots, recently named “Best New Restaurant of the Year” by 7 Days. It will also mark the debut of the vineyard’s new Wine Club, giving you the opportunity to be among the first to register and to savor a preview of the wines members will receive throughout the year.
