VSAC is hosting the last college & career planning event for this year at Castleton University this Saturday. If you have a high school sophomore or junior and missed the other two, consider it a college visit, plus a chance to collect good information & resources from field experts to use along the way.
When: Saturday April 7th, 8:30 – 12:30pm
Where: Castleton University, Castleton, VT
What: Choose from over 15 workshops covering:
- creating a college list that fits your student's needs and your family's finances
- how to apply
- strategies for taking SATs and ACTs
- writing an application essay that stands out
- college costs and financial aid
- scholarships, and
- * new this year* pathways to skilled trades and apprenticeships don't require a formal degree
