Wildlife Presentation - American Marten in Vermont

Past event
Apr 12, 2018, 7 to 9 PM

Now that spring is here it is time to start thinking about all the amazing wildlife species that reside in our area and the need for many of them to travel between the large habitat blocks found in the main Green Mt chain to the west and Worcester Range to the east. Frequently that will lead them through the Shutesville Hill Wildlife Corridor and the crossing of RT 100. The topic of habitat connectivity will be among the themes discussed during the next installment of the Shutesville Wildlife Series, "The American Marten in Vermont: Can Its Comeback Continue?" scheduled for April 12, from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Green Mountain Club Visitors Center. The program will be presented by Dr. James Murdoch, an Associate Professor at UVM's Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources. The event is free & open to the public, with donations to the Waterbury Conservation Fund welcome. Sponsored by the Shutesville Hill Wildlife Corridor Partnership.
